Your CV, the details used to auto-fill forms and your browser sessions (for example your LinkedIn login) are stored only on your computer. They are never uploaded to our servers and we cannot see them.

When you use Auto-fill, the app types those details into forms on the job site you opened. That site then receives them under its own privacy policy.

  Email and license key: sent when you activate or renew your license, to check it is valid.

  Device identifier: a pseudonymous code derived from your operating system's machine ID, plus a generic label such as "Windows 11" or "Darwin 24". We do not collect your computer name. It is used to count the devices of a license and the daily limit of the free plan. Because it can single out a device, we treat it as personal data.

  Download email (optional): if you type it in the download form, we store it with the date and the language you used.

  Purchase data: payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We receive your email, the plan and the subscription status, never your card details.

  Technical data: your IP address appears in server logs and is used to limit abuse. The website sets only the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.

  Free-plan usage: when you use the free plan, the app sends the device identifier and how many listings you have used today, so the daily limit is counted on our server. We store only the identifier, the date and that number: no email and no name.

To provide the licensed app and check your license (performance of our contract with you). To send the one welcome email you ask for when you download (at your request). To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and license sharing, and count the free plan's daily limit (our legitimate interest). To keep records we are legally required to keep. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails.

Lemon Squeezy (payments, taxes and receipts), Cloudflare (DNS and the downloads of the installer files, which see your IP address), our email delivery provider (Brevo, Resend) and our hosting provider (OVHcloud, with its data centre in the United Kingdom). They process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. Some may be located outside the European Economic Area; when that happens, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We do not sell your data.

If you press play on a video, it is loaded from YouTube (Google), which receives your IP address and browser details.

This website currently loads fonts from Google Fonts and styling code from cdn.tailwindcss.com, so those providers receive your IP address and browser details when you visit.

License records: while your license exists. After it ends we keep them only as long as needed for support, disputes and legal obligations, and we delete them when you ask us to.

Download emails: deleted automatically after 24 months, or earlier if you ask us to.

Free-plan usage counters: deleted automatically after 90 days without use.

Server logs: up to 30 days.

Payment records: kept by Lemon Squeezy under its own policy and legal obligations.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and object to its processing. Write to support@scoutwand.com from the address concerned and we will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

Scout Wand is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
